Lviv, a major business center in Western Ukraine, boasts a diversified economy driven by tourism, IT, and manufacturing. Located close to the Polish border, Lviv serves as a gateway to the European Union. Its well-developed transport infrastructure — including railways, highways, and an international airport — ensures strong domestic and international connectivity. The city excels in software exports, with over 24,000 IT specialists as of 2019, and hosts electronics and machinery manufacturing.
